Every hat we sell carries the weight of that experience. We know what the uniform meant. We know what it still means.
Our Story
Mark served in Vietnam with the 27th Infantry Regiment, a unit whose history stretches back to 1901 and whose motto, Nec Aspera Terrent — “No Fear on Earth” — has been earned in combat from Siberia to the Pacific to the jungles of Vietnam. The Wolfhounds are family, and that’s the spirit Mark brings to this business.
Armed Forces Hats was built on a simple idea: veterans deserve gear that honors their service without cutting corners. Too many “military” hats on the market are mass-produced novelty items made by people with no connection to the uniform. We’re different. Every hat in our shop is selected with care, designed for daily wear, and built to last the way the men and women who wore the uniform deserve.
What We Stand For
Veteran-owned. Veteran-focused. When you buy from us, you’re supporting a small business run by someone who served — not a faceless corporation slapping a flag on a product.
Built for everyday wear. These aren’t display pieces. They’re hats meant to be worn to the VFW, to the grandkids’ ball game, to morning coffee, to the reunion. Comfortable, durable, and proud.
A community, not a customer list. We’re building a place where Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, and Space Force veterans — and the families who love them — can find something that says I served without having to explain it.
A Note from Mark
“When I came home from Vietnam, the country wasn’t always kind to those of us who served. A lot has changed since then, and I’m grateful for it. But I started Armed Forces Hats because I still meet veterans who don’t get the recognition they earned. A good hat doesn’t make up for that. But it’s a small way to say, every time you put it on, what you did mattered.”
